I'm a Black woman, and like so many of us, I've watched our dollars leave our neighborhoods and flow into businesses that don't look like us, don't know us, and don't invest back into us. I decided to do something about it.
Soul & Sunflowers is more than an online store — it's the foundation of something bigger. Every purchase you make here is helping me build toward a dream: a Black-owned beauty supply store, rooted in our community, built for our people. A physical space where you walk in and feel seen. A place that means we made something.
Starting from scratch isn't easy. But purpose never is. And this — this is purpose.
